New Daughter
I have a new daughter. No, that's not the way to say it. Perhaps, 'a new baby girl was born into our family.' I really can't say that's quite right either. The problems here are numerous. She is so much more than a daughter or a baby girl that saying these things almost seems untrue. They are just scratching the surface of what this new little being is. Also, how can you say anything about her without saying everything-- she has soft cheeks, her name is Michelle (but we call her "Mitch" and that works too), she listens to her daddy, she's got her Grammy's fingers, and her momma's and Namma's nose, she was 23 inches long and 9 pounds 12 ounces, but that's only the beginning. She's beyond her fathers words, and I'm convinced that's the way it should be.

Congratulations!! You don't know me, but I just wanted to say that I join in with you and your wife's awe and excitement at the miracle of a precious little life. There truly are no words good enough to describe it!
Greetings from France, and have a wonderful day! :)
